Every month we donate a percentage of the proceeds from our Aspiration Collection to a charity/cause that is close to our hearts... But for #GivingTuesday and the month of December, we are donating 25% of our proceeds site-wide to this amazing, heart-warming, inspirational organization that fills our hearts so much love: A Sense of Home. We were recently invited to volunteer one Sunday a month to help create a home and just by donating our time, we have received more in return than we ever could have imagined!
A Sense of Home (ASOH) is a new LA-based nonprofit organization that has taken a holistic approach to transform the lives of at-risk foster youth who “age out” of the system. By creating their first ever homes, ASOH brings together volunteers to serve as a family would. Utilizing donated furniture to make the youth’s first permanent living space beautiful — affords them dignity, self - worth & pride. Each youth pays it forward partaking as a volunteer creating another youth’s home, becoming further immersed in the community, learning from healthy role models who can open up educational & career opportunities.
